Every man and woman - Naval or Military - didn't serve just 8 hrs. / day. Everyone of us were on call or on duty 24/7 for the years served. A very high percentage put their life on the line to fight for Americans - and often, non-Americans - so that all could enjoy the Freedoms granted by our Creator. I am proud to say, "I am an American veteran of 26 years. Therefore, my "yrs." are equivalent to 3x8 hr./ day. 8x26=78 yrs. @ work."
