I agree with supporting our strong black women. I'm for supporting all women, who fight for the just cause, and equality for all citizens. It's a tragedy what happened in Benghazi. But what about the disabled veterans who are being murdered, killed, evicted, hungry, and broken? Rental agencies, Finance companies, some medical physicians and employers, mistreat, humiliate, and show no compassion for veterans, and disabled veterans. I am homeless, I've had one of my cars repossessed while beginning a new federal job as federal police officer, in the state of Virginia. No one would hire me as a federal police officer, even though I have as much skill, knowledge, and experience in law enforcement. To appreciate the President's assistance with "Hire a Vet" I began seeking federal employment beginning February 2012. During this time, once I accepted the appointment to the state of VA, at Fort Eustis, VA, North Carolina, began turning for the worse. I was forced to resign from a comfortable employment at the Environmental Protection Agency, subcontracted security officer, through Alpha Protective Services Inc. I tried to help a trouble co-worker who was having vehicle trouble. I made an attempt to sell her one of my cars. She drove the car for nearly a month without making one vehicle payment or half of a payment. I asked for the car back, and she began harassing me at work. Calling me for eight consecutive hours while I was on federal government property. I reported this to my immediate supervisors and nothing was done. Three days later she filed a false sexual harassment complaint against me. All of this came in lieu of my reporting federal violations to the security corporate office, on site management, and the employees AFL-CIO Union. I met nothing but retaliatory treatment, hostile work environment. They conspired to terminate me in the worst way possible. Everyone knew I never harassed any women in thirty years of employment, twenty years of military service. So they conspired to terminate me through means of Insubordination. I resigned while under gross and severe conditions. I resigned so I could retain my integrity and self dignity. I was forced to do so, because I was already hired by Department of Defense, through the Air Force. I was not going to allow them to ruin my reputation over lies. I was unemployed for two months. NC Department of Commerce denied my claim for benefits, stating my reason for quitting was insufficient. I filed an appeal three days later, only to have my appeal hearing canceled October 1st, 2012 and moved to the end of of the month. I was at work at Fort Eustis, Virginia, during Hurricane Sandy. I am Mission Essential, plus it was my regular working day. I missed my appeal hearing telphone conference call. NC Department of Commerce, didn't grant another day, didn't respond to my request for an appeal to their decision to dismiss my case due to the inclement weather of Hurricane Sandy.
