Big game hunting makes me sick. People who pose with dead animals and post it on Facebook make me sick.

Trophy killers are remnants of the 19th century great white hunter colonialist era. They have NO beneficial or true conservation benefit in the 21st century. Rather, they are parasites and environmental terrorists who are pushing the most iconic animals toward extinction, headed by The Lion, King of All Beasts. The Lion is the most universal symbol of courage, strength and leadership in all of history. He represents his animal Kingdom and is the bellwether of what we are doing wrong to all animals on the earth. The only thing trophy Killing Klans want to "conserve" is their ability to kill animals for blood-lust and entertainment. Instead of applying true courage to fighting terrorists, these killers contribute to global unrest, poaching and funding terrorism by cowardly kill animals who can?t fight back with weapons of war. They delight in watching lions or elephants die an agonizing death at their hand with a cross-bow. Predators like lions and all other wildlife have intrinsic value. They are not commodities. They are the true guardians of a healthy ecosystem. They are individuals, irreplaceable and have the RIGHT to live as Nature intended, to multiply and live wild and free. These beings are God's and not ours to destroy for wanton and barbaric pleasure. The murder of Cecil The Lion was a tipping point and sparked a global movement that is clear: The American people do NOT want to support those who commit war on wildlife. Safari Club International -- in bed with the NRA and a broken down USFWS, itself headed by trophy hunters -- incentivizes its 50,000 members to murder over 300 animals each -- and the more endangered, the better. This means a carnage of over 15,000,000 souls - never to return to this earth again, wiped out by sociopaths who are encouraged to be serial killers of innocent animals and natural habitats. It is time for the bygone era of selfish and destructive trophy killers to become extinct, so that animals, our earth and our people can live and co-exist.

Please ban the import of Lion trophies, body parts, etc.. It's wrong and Lions are becoming extinct, as are other animals. It's wrong the way we treat animals. Please stop the insanity.

American hunters are emerging as a strong and growing threat to the survival of African lions. The African lion is a species in crisis. The king of the jungle is heading toward extinction, and yet Americans continue to kill lions for sport, Two-thirds of the lions hunted for sport were brought to America over the last 10 years. The number of wild African lions has fallen sharply in the last 100 years. A century ago, as many as 200,000 roamed across Africa. Now, by some estimates, fewer than 40,000 remain in the wild; others put the figure for survivors at 23,000, and they have vanished from 80% of the areas where they once roamed. A century ago, as many as 200,000 roamed across Africa. Now, by some estimates, fewer than 40,000 remain in the wild; others put the figure for survivors at 23,000, and they have vanished from 80% of the areas where they once roamed. Lions have become extinct in 26 countries. Only seven countries Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe are believed to contain more than 1,000 lions each. There is also a lot of pressure on lion habitats with wilderness areas shrinking to build roads such as the controversial highway across the Serengeti or to make room for agriculture. The wildlife coalition said western hunters were a growing danger to the lions' survival. Between 1999 and 2008, 64% of the 5,663 lions that were killed in the African wild for sport ended up being shipped to America. the numbers had risen sharply in those 10 years, with more than twice as many lions taken as trophies by US hunters in 2008 than in 1999. In addition to personal trophies, Americans are also the world's biggest buyers of lion carcasses and body parts, including claws, skulls, bones and *****es. In the same years, the US i.
