they are still in foster care because they sell the childern to foster familys and adopt them out so the state keeps the money because i wanted our niece placed with us and so did dhr but a judge in walla walla wa. said no and let the foster family have her we done the home study finger prints back ground check the hole 9 yards and the judge still said no even with dhr say place her with family we ask to appeal and was told we couldnt so tell me how that is right and also she is not the only one my step niece ask me to take her childern to and the same judge said noREPORT COMMENTS

As a 20 year foster parent I've seen children languish in foster care for way to long. One child we had came into foster care at the age of 7 and aged out from our house at 18. This is no way to treat children. States need to be made accountable. Better programs need set up to find viable relatives early on, and if none are available, these children deserve the opportunity to be adopted by families that will love and care for them. Please find a way to hold states responsible to these timelines.REPORT COMMENTS
