I was deeply disturbed when I viewed some videos on slaughterhouses and it's hard to believe that nothing is done yet for a better treatment of animals. Animals are innocent and yet, they way they are treated in the slaughterhouses is beyond horrific and hardly any laws to protect them. They feel pain just as we do and cannot speak in their defense. if we do not change the laws with the animals then it will just proceed to humans , what right do we have to torture any animal , they are not without rights, we are suppose to be a civilized society and yet the abuse goes on with very little punishment .
