I agree, but depending on the cause of death, it cant be reported with in an hr, if say, your sleeping and your child has SIDS, you wouldnt have any idea until a couple hrs later if not more. But some parents should not be charged a felony if they could not report it immediately. -

This is sad that we have to make this a law. All of us a parents would report our child in min not 31days. But we need this law so the people out there like casey that can kill her child and not report her gone. If it wasn't for her mom lil caylee would still be in the woods being eating by animals!!! Accountability from parent to child should never be an option. It is a privilege to be a parent. Parents lacking gratitude of such a privilege are not seriously taking in consideration the "ACCOUNTABILITY" factor of this privilege. We have much higher standards for less privileges.
