This abuse of innocent animals is happening too often in too many places. Dogs are being beaten,tortured,starved,abandoned and aren't safe even in the shelters,they're abused there too,not given medical care,even for serious injuries,illnesses or pain, a lot of the shelters are filthy,so the animals get sick,then are killed because they're sick. They're not given enough time for rescues to get them out,it takes time to get enough donations to pull an animal out and there are definitely not enough no kill shelters,we need more and bigger,cleaner shelters with caring staff that help rescuers save these animals,which is their job and what the county pays them for,rather than being in a hurry to kill them,these are not truly shelters if they're only held a short time, then killed,they are then not being sheltered in that respect and they are not put to sleep first before they are given a poisonous shot. The woman whose yard he was dumped in found a dog previously abused and dumped in her year 8 years prior! Anyone capable of this kind of horrendous abuse of an animal it's only a matter of time, if not already doing so, that the sick s.o.b.'s end up doing so to a human. They must be stopped! There is so much hate, anger, & abuses everywhere that we all must start to stand up & say enough. Helping abused animals is just a first step.
