This is ESSENTIAL! What better cure for PTSD than to have the buddy beside you who went through all the same horrors of war. BRING THEM HOME TOGETHER!

This act would rightfully so reunite dogs with their handlers, keeping them from being abandoned overseas. Experts estimate that each military dog saves the lives of between 150-200 service members. They're not just pets ? they are also veterans! ;-)

Military dogs are highly trained soldiers and should be treated just like their human counterparts. They save countless lives and have been a major component of successful missions in combat. It is disgraceful for the military to leave them behind. We should be ashamed of ourselves for treating them as equipment and abandoning them when they have done so much for us. It should be mandatory to bring back these heros. Do the right thing and give our soldiers the treatment they deserve.

Shared on Muttnews on facebook- please email your congressional reps plus senators and let them know we need to amend current legislation so that when canine vets are retired it is on US soil so they can be rehomed and live out their lives with families- not in kennels in war zones.
