I own 25 horse and 3 burros.. They are my responsibility and when its "their time" I will see them out with dignity and respect.. The actual cost of humane euthanasia & disposal is equal to about one months cost of feeding and caring for a horse.. Again my responsibility..Now lets talk about the chemicals that these animals not being under the FDA's rulings they contain high amounts of toxins and carcinogens.. I know that all of my animals have been given meds, wormers, supplements that all have clearly stated on the label "Not intended for animals meant for human consumption".. American's do NOT eat horses.. Have you ever seen a little girl run up to a horse and say, "Umm I'm hungry, lets eat"???? No I didn't think so... So why would we send toxic meat to Europe when we won't be able to even pass their new passport system.. Come one this is bad and wrong.. Do the right thing here... Thank you...
