The actions of the Iowa department of human services no longer align with nor does it serve the purpose Congress intended. Rather than helping children and families more often then not they are tearing them apart without justification because they are operating unchecked and outside of the law. They use out of date technics that are not evidence based as required. Too many Iowans are suffering with little recourse. One unqualified person decides your fate. We need to take action and stop this abuse of power, we are the only ones who can.
Think a minute on any experience you've had with DHS was it pleasant or helpful at all? Did you get connected to resources that you actually wanted or needed? We're you happy to be involved with them?

I certainly have not and neither has anyone I've asked thus far... that's a big problem.
