People blame capitalism for a destruction of the middle class. But these people fail to understand basic economics. The middle class has been destroyed because of the Federal Reserve system. Its destructive monetary policies, because of inflation (which happens when currency is created out of thin air), have destroyed the middle class. Sound money will only be restored when price is dictated by the market, and not central governmental planners. The Federal Reserve should be abolished immediately, and replaced with free market banking, in which there is competition between depository institutions, and individuals may use any commodity they wish (within reason, of course) as money.
