This bombardment of legal drug pushing on television has to stop. Let people and doctors work together privately without this hammering and haranguing from these pharmaceutical companies. They are skirting on practicing medicine without a license. It's time to push back and stop them.REPORT COMMENTS

Its unethical on so many levels for Pharmaceutical companies to advertise on radio, television, cable TV, and Internet. So many of the ads are misleading, using fear tactics, and at times downright false advertising. It takes the doctor and patient out the conversation and ultimate decision for what is best for the patient. There should be zero advertising about any medication or biologics, that includes vaccines.REPORT COMMENTS

This bombardment of legal drug pushing on television has to stop. Some of these drugs have the most horrendous potential side effects. Let people and doctors work together privately without this hammering and haranguing from these pharmaceutical companies. They are skirting on practicing medicine without a license. I have a feeling that we need this law but I like to see all sides of the issue. Is either the "evidence" of the CDC cover up or the report about it available to the public?REPORT COMMENTS

Money has become more important than our childrens' lives. As parents and grandparents we must take back our right to say no and have these poisons not being pushed in our faces without mention of real risk. It is scandalous. CONGRESS MUST CALL THE CDC WHISTLEBLOWER TO TESTIFY.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm on Social Security Disability benefits now. My disability was a DIRECT RESULT of pharmaceutical medications. Unfortunately the two year statute ran out in my state before I could be compensated for my injuries. Now the SSDI system and my spouse have to pay do support me, even though I was a productive member of society up to the point that pharmaceutical products deprived me of my ability to work. We need more research and less manipulation, marketing and bias. Corporate profits should not be privileged over consumer safety.REPORT COMMENTS

The pharmaceutical industry's ability to engage in direct to consumer advertising makes news outlets beholden to their influence. As a result the public isn't going to get the full story regarding pharmaceutical hazards. The law that allows this is compromising the public's health and safety by evidence of resulting injuries manifesting in various forms. Accordingly, a law banning DTC Marketing of pharmaceutical products is necessary immediately.REPORT COMMENTS

For the first time in four years, I watched a television while waiting in the Urgent Care room. There were at least four commercials for prescription drugs that were being marketed to the public to relieve their symptoms. Then, the commercial went on to list the side effects that came with each drug. I was amazed and angry that in the United States the best we can do is to overlook the root of any illness or disease to prescribe drugs that only benefit the pharmaceutical companies. Are the health care programs so blind and brainwashed that public ethics and best interest is being traded for dollars?REPORT COMMENTS

Not only does the pharmaceutical industry buy off the media with their advertising dollars, but they buy off the medical community with financial incentives for over-prescribing pharmaceuticals and vaccines, and buy off the politicians with campaign contributions. Enough already! Our healthcare system has the poorest outcome in the developed world.REPORT COMMENTS
