Stop Military Aid to Israel, Including of the Pending \"Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2015\"
Israeli Occupation is Committing Atrocities, Collective Punishment & Killing of Innocent Palestinians
Since Israel?s newest aggression in the Gaza Strip began, Israeli Occupation Forces have killed close to 500 Palestinians, the majority of them are children and women, and wounded close to 5000. In addition, this ramped up assault has caused the destruction of more than 300's of homes, residential, educational, religious, medical, and commercial buildings. All these atrocities have been accompanied with deadly incursions into the West Bank that resulted in the arrests of close to a 1000 Palestinians, including dozens of children, home demolitions, thousands of raids and the arrests of more than 200 Palestinian citizens of Israel. During its incursion into the West Bank that began on June 12, Israeli forces killed tens of Palestinians and Israeli settlers killed four ? including 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir, who was burned alive. In addition, American high school student Tarek Abu Khdeir, Mohammed?s cousin, was arrested as he was waiting for dawn prayer, brutally beaten, detained and denied medical treatment.
All of these actions amount to collective punishment, which is forbidden by international law. The United State?s unconditional support of Israel ? especially in light of its continued violations of international law; the US Arms Export Control Act, which forbids the use of American weapons against a civilian population; and Israel?s continual abuse of Palestinian human rights ? hurts our standing in the Arab and Muslim world. US support for Israel threatens our national security.
As American citizens, we call upon you to uphold our American values of liberty, justice and self-determination by holding Israel accountable for its human rights abuses and violations of international law. We demand the US intervene to force Israel to stop its aggression and collective punishment of the Palestinian people immediately.

Stop any military aid to Israel, including of the pending "Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2015" that was reported by Senator Durbin (IL), Chairman of the Committee on Appropriations, and placed on "Calendar No. 472 / Report No. 113-211" in Senate waiting to be voted on. The bill that is providing $621 million of our tax-money for Israeli army, is not really helping "Defense Programs", it is supporting the Israeli aggression and cycles of violence
? End to Israel?s collective punishment of the Palestinian people, including Operation Protect Edge
? End to the Israeli occupation, settlements, and give Palestinians their legitimate rights. This occupation is the source of all evil in the Middle-East, as a minimum requirement to establish justice and peace
