tejano is not with royalties it is the Spanish that came lst. el Nuevo sntander with escando. the independence of meixoco brought a new breed far away from royalties. mestizos. these had no royalties. I feel that these are those that deputed the real property owners under spain. You will not find their names in the list of titles left at the senate level of usa. nor at the republic of texas before the king leaves the Spanish state to fight napoleon in Europe.

I am a native of harlingen, Texas, I have been researching along with Michael Hamilton the familia, longoria/Garcia ancestry. I am appalled at the horrific violations of civil rights as american citizens, my grandmother, my grandfather, past ancestors all have been violated and swindled by crocked government scare tactics of imposing quick claims sales of land for taxes, no royalties have ever been paid to any of the familia heirs, of which the king of Spain left all royalties of mineral rights below and above the land and into the sea to the heirs forever. the government has not bothered to locate any heir and have been spending all royalties to fund schools and whatever they see fit, were talking billions. if George bush runs for land commissioner , you can bet your*****he will swindle the oil/minerals into his pockets.

Ancestors were one of the first six families to be given land grants by the King of Spain, then written and kept in the Texas Land Grant office in Austin. The proof and proof of wrong doing is all written and on file.

Descendent great grand daughter of Luis Ramirez who fought in the Civil War...I looked up my ancestors in the courthouse in Laredo, Texas. It was a nightmare of how the Ramirez' land was taken by the state of Texas...all or majority of paperwork, deeds, etc. claimed that the Ramirez died of diseases or claimed to be "lunatics". How's that for stealing blindly? Not mention that my great grand father's pension record is invisible, his parents are not be found in any searches, and my great grandmother who "owned" Benavides, Texas was made to sell for .50 cents an acre...Great job Texas...our "The Alamo" heroes, and all kaka lackies who came to make our ancestors their slaves and steal our lands by forging legal documents and driving our ancestors out like cattle! Let's not give up the movement...we have been cheated and disgraced by our own government whom our forefathers, fathers, brothers have given their lives to protect.
