This is a crazy ban. It is the owners, not the dogs. Dogs can be trained. Why don't the poice worry more about getting bad people out of town than dogs. It seems that is a little more important. The dogs aren't the problem.REPORT COMMENTS

Pity's are not the problem. Their owners, who found they enjoyed watching them fight, or train for protection to sell drugs, or just want to have a mean dog have trained them to be mean. Any dog can be trained this way. Don't punish this innocent breed!REPORT COMMENTS

Laws should be based on logic not irrational fear. The peer reviewed scientific research shows that BSL does not work. Laws should punish irresponsible owners, not condemn entire breeds as a result of legislators acting in ignorance or out of pure laziness.REPORT COMMENTS

It's not the animal! 90% of the time it's the owner. Dogs are only mean when they are raised to be mean by mean people. It is not fair to punish responsible owners for the irresponsible owners' actions. It is also not fair to ban and punish the poor animal when they have done nothing wrong. Let's just say someone chicken onw potato chip, you wouldn't put a ban all potato chips just because one person decided not to chew their food correctly. It's stupid ti blame the animal for irresponsible human error. Banning an animal because of their breed doesn't fix the problem, only make it worse.REPORT COMMENTS

Its not the animal its the owner. If a dog is correctly trained and most importantly socialized at an early age they will be well behaved in adult hood. No dog should live a life in fear and muzzled in public taking away its freedom to be a dog. Fix the problem which are those that train their dog to be aggressive and abuse innocent dogs. Penalize them financially and with imprisonment then rehabilitate the dog.REPORT COMMENTS

All dogs have the potential to be beautiful. Owners are responsible for their care, training, and behavior. Those who breed animals for illegal acts are the issue, not the breeds. Dogs are the victims in this mess.REPORT COMMENTS

This is disgusting. Dogs are beautiful creatures. They offer unconditional love. There are so many more important things for our government to worry about. Canines shouldn't be anywhere on the list. There should be restrictions on certain types of people.REPORT COMMENTS

Please stop BSL. It's a ignorant form of discrimination. Punishing innocent dogs for being born the wrong breed is unfair & inhumane. The alleged reports are typically taken out of context and we need to stop and think that bad behavior is a learned behavior. Punish the owner not the breed for accidents. Give these dogs a fighting chance to live. They have so much to offer, from being therapy dogs to teacing us loyalty, patience, building confidence, respect, true friendship and unconditional love, destroying them is not the answer. I myself love and admire dogs than some people. Please stop this from happening you would be hero saving a beautiful soul.REPORT COMMENTS

BSL is wrong and their supporter use unsupported evidence to try and convince people that certain breeds are monsters and are responsible for unfortunate situations, which are usually caused by bad breeding and/or a bad home life. Needs to be ended so thousands of lovable animals do not perish!REPORT COMMENTS
