I believe the primary concern of the FDA is to make money and maintain control of pharmacological and agricultural operations around the world without regard for the people they affect.

Not providing the patient who has dense breast tissue that their mammogram results while negative, is only 60 % reliable is unconcionable. Can you imagine a Doctor telling a man his prostate cancer screen is negative if the Dr knew full well the screen was only 60% effective due to a type of prostate condition that could mask the result? The Doctor would tell him an elevated PSA result is a good indication of Prostate CA but a normal PSA level does not rule out CA and given the man's age and family history he should pursue x, y or z to truly rule out Prostate CA. Shame on any Doctor who does not inform their patient of the limitations of mamagrams for women with Dense Breast tissue. They should not need the FDA to make them do what is morally right. Doesn't the hippocratic oath cover that..."I shall do no HARM"!!!

I am one of the thousands of women who learned too late about the suppression of this information. I strongly support public hearings on this issue.

Physicians should tell patients the truth and the FDA is obligated to enforce this.
