head start is a wonderful program that has helped so many children get a better start in life. with all the budget cuts how can you even consider cutting any programs to help children excell. after all, the children growing up now are the future of our country. there are many places cuts can be made but please dont deprive our future by taking away the tool needed to educate and teach our future leaders. this program has taught my young grand daughter so much that she would have not have learned and she will be totally prepaired for kindergarden. thank you for all you have done for my little girl. i beg you not to end this program so that other children may recieve the same great start in school that my child got to have. please,please do not close the head start program!REPORT COMMENTS

Head Start is a Godsend to so many families. This program is absolutely wonderful and needs to continue for our children. I could not imagine my son not being in this program; not to mention what he wouldn't be learning anymore. It is wonderful and so are the teachers...who work so hard and get paid so little! My little brother had a speach promblem and was not speaking well at the age of three until he was enrolled into head start, within one year of attending head start he was able to not only speak loud and clear but has the ability to read books. With out head start he would not have a voice today and I would like to speak for him and a million other children and say please do not cut this program for children are our future.let them have a voice!!REPORT COMMENTS
