Elimination of the ACS is an act of cowardice and an overt attack on the most vulnerable among us. See you in church!

The ACS data is vital to BOTH government policy makers and private business. Eliminating the survey will ultimately prove disastrous for the economic recovery, which is off to a shaky start as it is.

The ACS is vital to an informed understanding of the characteristics of our communities and how they are changing.

As a city planner, the information the ACS provides is invaluable to making good, sound policy decisions in our neighborhoods, communities, cities, and metropolitan regions. Please do not eliminate funding for this source of critical information which so many policies and funding allocations rely on.

An informed community is vital to being able to plan and provide for the future as well as participate in government. Tax payers pay for the census and have the right to see the results which are used to establish funds without having to pay again for it or jump through hoops for information that ought to be readily available in a digital age.
