It's a helpless feeling. They have our money (17K+ for me) and there's nothing that we can do about it. TD Ameritrade should be ashamed for not putting more pressure on The Reserve on behalf of their clients. This was touted as being safe as a money market fund. It was not. TD is to blame for inaccurately representing this fund. The Reserve is to blame for overreacting to the Lehman failure. And now the SEC is to blame for not forcing The Reserve to release these funds.REPORT COMMENTS

I really fault TD Ameritrade for selling this as a Money Market fund. I did not even sign or approve the transaction into this fund. Still waiting for the entire return of money invested 2 years later. I know that Ameritrade broke the law but is fighting for the customers.REPORT COMMENTS
