I have over $250,000 in debt because I chose to pursue a legal career. 5 years out of law school, I am no longer a lawyer. I will likely never make enough in income to pay off this debt, so discharging it bankruptcy is my only option to have a "normal" life with children, marriage, etc.Aug 7th, 2016Someone from Saint Peter, MN signed.

It is wrong to force people to pay on these loans who can't afford it and whose situations are not likely to change. See seniorsandstudentloans.com for more information.REPORT COMMENTS

All student loans are predatory because no simple man could ever conceive the lifetime of severe economic indebtedness and hardship due to the interest rates, how they are calculated and fees. There is LITTLE significant relief in any of President Obamas programs for the average American with student loans with TERMINAL debt sentences. This is choking and stifling the American economy. Protect the citizens in this regard as you protected the banks in the mortgage crisis. Please act now!REPORT COMMENTS

Bring bankruptcy protection back to school loans. It's outrageous that these protections were ever removed.REPORT COMMENTS

No matter what, I will never ever be able to pay my debts. My student loan debt IBR payment ends up being a quarter of my monthly take-home because the loan company calculate each of 10 individual loans separately and then add up the hundreds of dollars together. The student loan industry is a sham! I would gladly give back my degree in exchange for not having this over my head. Please help me!REPORT COMMENTS
