My son's insulin steadily rises with each refill. My fear is that when he's out on his own he will not be able to afford filling his perscription. It's a crying shame that it costs over $1000 a month to keep my child alive (and that's WITH insurance).REPORT COMMENTS

Why? Why is the cost of medicines so high? Why should a parent who worries non-stop about their child's life on a daily basis also have to worry about loosing everything they own to pay for medicine?
