Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have as an individual and even as a country and we should be teaching our children growing up that it is important to start each and every day with a prayer. This country was founded on the principals of God and once we turn our backs on God how can we expect him to be there for us?Feb 5th, 2017Amy W. from Murphy, NC signed.

We should put prayer back in to school because our country was founded upon God. If we put God first, this country will be blessed again and our children will respect their parents and others. If America turns back to God, then our land will be Blessed and America will prosper again and God will bless the United States of America once again.REPORT COMMENTS

I was born in 1971. I attended school at Quinton, Ok, a very small town. I remember every morning we would have prayer and pledg allegiance to the flag. This I remember so well because of how far the children have fallen away from respect. I pray that one day our children will experience the same respect for God and our great country as I did.REPORT COMMENTS

I totally agrree that prayer should be re established in schools. We can not go wrong by acknowledging the Creator and true God of this blessed nation. Ever since we have allowed the worshiping of creatures rather than the creator we have experienced massive evil infiltrated in the schools. It is time to make America great again and bring back the morals and beliefs system of our founding fathers. We will see supernatural things Happening once we do God's will. Something's got to give.REPORT COMMENTS

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6?-?7 KJV The power of a Christian is prayer. The fact is prayer has never been completely removed from school. Prayer is ever in the heart of a Christian, and no man on earth can stop a true Christian from praying to God. We have the gift of Prayer through our Savior Jesus Christ. Wether or not prayer is allowed is a technicality. People will pray but with no relationship with Christ they will not be heard. Even if prayer is permitted in schools the ones praying may not know Christ, but for those who do know Christ they should be able to pray over there food, pray for help on a test, and pray for a friend or teachers without get in trouble for following the commandment of there Lord.REPORT COMMENTS

I attend a public high school in West Virginia, and I think it is so sad that many different beliefs can practice their religion, such as not standing for the pledge, but then again, Christians can't pray in school. I remember when I was in kindergarten, we would always say the Lord's Prayer in the morning and another prayer before we left for lunch. Such an impact that daily routine put on my life, and I would like to see prayer come back into the schools.REPORT COMMENTS

If one atheist woman can get God out of our schools, why can't one Christian woman get God back in our schools. I am willing to do what it takes. God here I am!REPORT COMMENTS

If we can't put prayer back in our school. Let's at least allow our children to have moments of meditation. To be thankful.REPORT COMMENTS

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." School enforced" Prayer is already permitted to students, groups of kids already lead prayer circles at my school, but schools and teachers cannot make it compulsory or mandate it. That would violate the Constitution of the United States.REPORT COMMENTS
