Pension funding 75 years into the future. Does any other company do that? Some of the things our government supports with our tax money amazes me but, yet they find it so hard to support the Post Office. -

A functioning postal service is a cornerstone of democracy and civilization. Privatizing mail delivery is a mistake, and it is most definitely the aim of certain elements in Congress. We have a postal service that is the true envy of the world. Restore its ability to act.REPORT COMMENTS

The pre-funding of future health care was nothing more than a loan, using the USPS as collateral. Please rescind this ridiculous requirement and allow the USPS to return to profitability.REPORT COMMENTS

Please do this for the American people you represent. I can't believe it hasn't been done yet. Do you gentlemen not take an oath of office to uphold the Constitution? Look at it. The USPS is a part of it. Title 39' Section 101.REPORT COMMENTS

I am a usps widow whoose spouse got non replacement of attrition due to the paea in may of 2006 and died in may 2007, this has been ongoing insanity due to corporate interest above we the people , how many more should die due to the paea, in memory of his patritotic life and death, for working letters, overpayment in to his retirment funds and robbery of the profits he helped earned in 2006, as a former marine he deserved more then this at the hands of congress, for being a taxpaying american worker, who wanted a middle class life and retirement , and is the ony one not to retire in his office due to the paea, is his life and blood not enough , stop the predunding and save the usps since it helped form the nation and the constitution, urge you to read, daniel calhoun roper book even on amazon.com, search inside this book : The post office, its past record, its present condition and it potential relation to the new world era, 1913- 1917. value it for the contribution and for american postal workers who deserve better .REPORT COMMENTS
