As a retired rural Postmaster, I know the logistical challenges of mail delivery from far away processing plants. When/if Salem closes, the 974 and 973 offices will be severely impacted. Please do what you can to keep Salem open.REPORT COMMENTS

I worked for the USPS for 31 years. There a lot of great people working ttheir. If congress continues to make the USPS prefund health it is wrong. No other GS has to do this WHY should the Postal Service. In a time of few jobs this is senseless. I don't want to have to wait a week to receive a letter in the winter season because the trucks can't make it over the pass. Time to crawl out from under that bubble you are under.REPORT COMMENTS
