Leonard has served more time than most murderers because of Tom Daschel. There is no proof that he pulled the trigger, but he may know who did and therefore has been held. Please, President Obama, grant release to this beautiful man.

President Obama, Leonard Peltier has served 40 years imprisonment for a crime that most following his trial do not think he committed. Certainly, the proof was weak and the trial heavily biased towards the prosecution. Please pardon this now infirm old man. Thank you.

Do not let Leonard Peltier become another Henry Ossian Flipper, given Executive Clemency after he has passed. Executive Clemency is long overdue.

Please make this wrongful conviction come to an end and release Leonard Peltier from prison, The facts over weigh in his direction that he has been framed.

Peltier should have been freed decades ago. Right the wrong!

We, as a country, can not allow this type of injustice. It has been proven that he was condemned wrongfully. It does not set a precedence to admit it was wrong. Please do the right thing for him. Signed: a Concerned Citizen

The fact that Mr Peltier is still in prison -and suffering from ill-or untreated medical problems, for the "crime" of defending his people from the unwanted invasion of the Jumping Bull property at Oglala and its Spiritual Encampment, including elders, women and children, is a national disgrace, has been disproven many times since his wrongful conviction for the direct shooting of SA's Williams and Coler and now an act of congressional disregard and even cowardice. He should be granted clemency or at least a re-trial by a non-biased judge, allowing previously denied evidence favorable to the defense. Shame on you!
