Life does not mean life. So... a man with an excessive amount of time can participate in the family visiting program, but someone with 15 to life and who can and WITH this kind of incentive, will program and go home. NOTHING and I MEAN "NOTHING" matters as much as Your Family this includes his Spouse. Don't let drug fiends and sexual strangers ruim SO MANY people's lives. Not every inmate is that "monster" you always imagine. People "DO" make mistakes and are changing. This incentive WILL improve behavior and profit the program and will require added staff. The CCPOA should back that.

Giving lifers conjugal visit back could act a powerful incentive for good behaviors for inmates who want to spend time with loved ones. One 2012 study found that in states where conjugal visits are not allowed, prisons had more than four times as many incidents as facilities in states where they were allowed. The study also pointed to the familial benefits conjugal visits could bring improving the functioning of a marriage by maintaining an inmates role as husband or wife, improve the inmates behavior while incarcerated, counter the effects of prisonization, and improve post-release success be enhancing the inmate's ability to maintain ties with their families.
