I think it's very important that SOME LIFERS have the option to be eligible for conjugal visits I Know it will stop a lot of crime within the prison system and less suicides within the jail system I am personally affected by this sudden change because I have family members who are lifers as well as someone I love dearly and I would love to one day be able to spend more personal time with him to watch a movie or just be in each others arms and allow our kids to see their father it's a lot not being able to visit him and have a family a weekend out of a month atleast I hope this petition is taken seriously and I pray a change will come !REPORT COMMENTS

Look conjugal visits been around since Abraham Lincoln s time maybe even longer they made the inmates behave better , there was less crime in prison and from what I heard thru history prisoner's worked better in the fields at that time so why would we change things . yes BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT THE CHILDREN AND WIFE'S AND FAMILIES OF THESE PRISONERS ARE BEING HURT.. WHAT WE HAVE TO REMEMBER IS THEY ARE IN PRISON THAT'S THE PUNISHMENT ...BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THE GOVERNMENT IS JUST ADDING AND ADDING MORE STUFF WHICH NOW EFFECTS US THE FAMMY MEMBERS CHILDREN WIFE'S KIDS SHOULD BE ABLE TO SPEND WAY MORE TIME WITH THERE LOVED ONE THEN JUST A FEW HOURS THEY ARE NOT COMING HOME OR MAYBE NOT EVEN IN TO SOCIETY AGAIN...
