Mr. Salazar's mishandling of our wild horses is criminal. He is the mouthpiece of the cattle ranchers and has willfully colluded with them to clear our public land of our mustangs and burros for their profit. We deserve to have a representative in that office who will do the will of the American people and that is to protect our wild horses and burros not send them off to slaughter or holding pens. This problem is symbolic of a much larger one in our country, namely that money, power, and prestige are winning out over doing the right thing. The inhumane slaughter of these horses and the money it brings to policy makers in the government is simply obscene. Money and influence are in control here. This is what is destroying our country - no values!!!!!!!! And it will continue until people of honesty, inegrity, intelligence, and compassion become our leaders who will show us the path of our forefathers and the way of a new future. For God's sake, take this guy out of the BLM and put someone in who will be horrified at allowing horse slaughter as a way of getting a big payoff. Which way will it be America????
