Smaller, niche online broadcasters are going extinct because of recent adjustments to royalty rates. What's the point in listening to the same old stuff on Pandora when I can listen to the same old stuff on terrestrial radio?Feb 12th, 2016Someone from Schenectady, NY signed.

Please keep small internet radio stations of the air. Internet radio provides music and other content not available elsewhere. Allowing this legislation to stand will not only harm small webcasters, but also limit the struggling artists chances of their music being heard. That's not to mention that music not normally heard on terrestrial (AM/FM) radio will also be non-existent online. Again, I urge the CRB to reconsider its decision to rescind the Small Webcaster's Settlement Act of 2002. Thank you.REPORT COMMENTS

The music most stations play today is geared towards the upcoming generation. There is no comparison to the music we grew up on and no other place of us to enjoy it. These rates are totally unfair and should not be allowed!!REPORT COMMENTS

Where else can music from performers from past and current generations representing all genres be heard without Internet radio from small broadcasters?REPORT COMMENTS

How disgusting... Everything good is consistently taken away from us, and we're forced to deal with it. Let us have our little radio stations, especially for those like myself who is blind and can't get a gig in the industry because of it. Disrespectful!REPORT COMMENTS

Once again, big business tries to eliminate all competition, including small businesses and hobbyists. This interferes with our right to free speech and free expression.REPORT COMMENTS

Over the last month, thousands of independent, non-profit internet radio stations have gone silent due to a change in laws. Many thousand more are threatened. The fact is this: Pandora and Spotify can easily absorb this increase and they don't want any more competition. AM and FM stations are exempt from paying. Restore the special rates for microbroadcasters. Let's keep the diversity in internet radio. Thanks.REPORT COMMENTS
