It's ridiculous that Internet oldies music stations that feature DJs who receive no pay for the fine job they do (and the many hours they spend) in helping to keep the music alive should be terminated. Elimination of thousands of such stations can hardly be considered a benefit for anyone, with the exception of such big-money operations such as iHeart and Pandora.

For corporate greed it's all about money...for myself and thousands of others it's about internet music. Without music to warm the heart and soul, and without these special webcasters who care, our world will become even more uncaring that it already is. I for one will never listen to Pandora, Iheart, Spotify or such ever again

Please reconsider adding SWSA back. Please don't end the hope of the small webcaster. To do this is unfair and unjust.

I own and operate smoothjazztampabay.com and i am not going down without a fight. I have 11 years of my time and treasure ito this only to have it snatched away and given to a few? ********. There should be no royalties at all! WE promote the artists. I have a companion petition as well.. "The more the merrier" it is gaining steam after 3 days! please sign this one too! https://www.change.org/p/u-s-house-of-representatives-u-s-senate-save-net-radio-we-need-your-help-to-petition-congress-100-000-stations-will-perish

Why can't there be simple exception or lower rate for the smaller webcasters? Seems easy enough to set a means tested tier based system right??

Please do not pass any bills that will create the necessity for small Internet station owners to shut down.

This is wrong on so many levels- why don't FM stations pay any royalties? There should be a hobby provision in this- most of the folks you are putting out of business make no real money from their broadcasts- it is , for the moat part, a labor of love. You are also going to hurt all the ancillary business associated with internet radio- the programs they use, the web hosts, the systems they use, etc; you will now only have a couple of major players and they will control what we hear. I don't want to accuse anyone of anything, but public perception will be that you got paid off by the big guys to get rid of the mom and pop competition. If you didn't, hope you can live with the criticism you are going to get, and if you did, hope you find a way to manage to sleep at night

Small broadcast stations should not have to suffer because major corporations like Pandora and iHeart Radio think they should be able to control what is being heard on the internet. Shame on them! AND, shame on the Copyright Royalty Board for setting the fees outrageously high! Small radios stations who have been paying licensing fees all along should not be punished!

THESE RATES WILL FORCE MOST SMALL STATIONS TO CLOSE UP.....THERE MUST BE A FAIR WAY TO FIX THIS.

Please keep our oldies stations on the air. The owners and CEO's of the small stations pay these fees out of their own pockets. They receive no pay, and work many, many hours per day to keep the music alive. Closing thousands of stations down from coast to coast would not only be a loss for the listeners, but for YOU too!!!! When you add up and the thousands of stations you shut down, that adds up to a BIG loss for you.
