As an educator and business owner, I can say PBS gives children the push to stretch their imaginations to dream anything is possible. This gives birth to creativity and the notion that learning is fun. I grew up on PBS and the muppets, becauseI did not have cable as a child. They enhanced my desire to explore the world and push myself to find new innovations and dream anything is possible. Every child for decades to come should have the chance for this kind of inspiration.REPORT COMMENTS

Public broadcasting has been an amazing benefit to our nation for incredibly little cost. PBS has helped to teach several generations of our nation (including me) and get them excited about learning and continue down the path of knowledge. NPR is an incredibly important source of news and information. These programs could limp along without public funding, but communities around the country would lose access and the quality would decline dramatically. There are many important roles for our federal government and helping provide educational opportunities, disaster relief, regulation to protect our health and safety, and many more things. CPB has been a great investment for our country and one we should continue making.REPORT COMMENTS
