Citizens of the US should not be allowed to have an instant gateway to murder. What happened at Sandyhook was only an example of how dangerous these weapons can be if in the wrong hands. If there is no way to ensure the safety of childeren and adults, I do not see why anyone who can not be trusted should be allowed these weapons. And if the issue here is equality, then why should anyone be allowed to bear arms.REPORT COMMENTS

I am not a gun owner, but I support another's right to bear arms for hunting and self-defense. However, no one should be allowed to own weapons intended for use in war.
