I have an higher education from reputed international institute and good amount of work experience but living US under H4 visa and supposedly wasting my talent. Enough of thinking that I am busy but honestly my mind is being tortured. It's an individual right to work, just reject me if I am not qualified for the job but not based on the citizenship. Please pass this bill and I am sure US won't regret this and rather it would help to boost your economy!

I worked for 5 years in an area where there is a crunch of resources in the U.S but not let to work because I am on H4. All that studying and exerience has come to naught and it depresses me. Please pass this legislation and let me be productive. Right to work should be a fundamental right.

This rule will help many skilled individuals and help the United States. I am not sure why the process is still stuck. The rule should take effect asap.

Dear President/Congress, please pass the law to allow H4 holder of a H1B holder who is in Greencard application process to be able to work. Otherwise our family would face hardship even my wife has skills but she can't work because her company is not able to do green card petition for her and her h1B is running out. Thanks!

This rule would help the highly qualified spouses of H1 holders to stay together as a family without having to waste their knowledge, skills and work-experience. Please approve this eagerly awaited rule.

This bill is essential because : 1- LEGALITY: we are here legally, we pay our taxes , we abide the law. we are awaiting our permanent residency. 2- CONTRIBUTION : Most H4s also have BS/MS/PhD degrees, that adds a lot of value to the industry. Many of them potential innovators. 3- ECONOMY: More people working-->more disposable income--> more spending ---> more jobs 4- HUMANITY - It's inhumane to prevent someone his/her right to work and be forced to live at home, it feels like a "virtual" jail. 5- HAPPINESS- No job causes depression, resulting in unhappy family and that can affect future children. Most developed nations allow spouses to work. 6- CONSISTENCY: L2 spouse is allowed to work, H1B's spouse is not ?!! There is no consistency in the way immigration law works. H1Bs are highly skilled labor. 7- GOVT TAX - The spouse will still have to pay additional tax, which means more funds for the government. It's a win-win situation for everyone.

Dear Mr. President, For the many reasons (be it financial/economic, personal/individual, and social), We are all hopeful to see the Bill getting passed, offering eligibility for EAD for H-4 visa holders. After being in the country for that many years, every resident has the right to employment!

This rule is vital for families waiting for green card (which itself is a process that needs revision due to long wait time).
