Help the new American middle class homeless, the Half-Homeless
Please help the Half-Homeless, they are middle class people who have lost their home and are forced to live in their cars, they currently are not counted in the homeless census or helped.
The National Safe Parking Program, www.NationalSafeParking.org, intends to establish and support a Safe Parking Programs in every city that needs one in America.
We have identified the 100 critical cities we intend to establish a Safe Parking Program in the first year. That will allow us to help over 100,000 Half-Homeless, the first year alone. We have a detailed plan that includes creating a National Safe Parking staff and a 100 Safe Parking Program Ambassadors (front line case/lot managers). We will create a training program, process and procedures manuals and an online case and parking lot management system that will allow the Half-Homeless to register and automatically be entered into the HUD Rapid Rehousing program and local social services assistants programs. It will allow our Ambassadors make parking lot assignments and assist their efforts as case managers to get the individual Half-Homeless the help they need to get back into housing and on their feet again. It will also create an accurate count of the Half-Homeless locally and for the portion of the nation we will be servicing, allowing a statically accurate projection of the total number of Half-Homeless for the first time.
