Help End Khader Adnan\'s Hunger Strike: Urge Israel to End Administrative Detentions
Israel, an American ally and a large recipient of American aid is frequently touted as the "only democracy in the Middle East," yet through a complicated system of military courts, they currently are able to indefinitely detain people in "administrative detention."

Such methods are totally unacceptable from the perspective of the Geneva Convention, especially so when no disclosure of the exceptional circumstances that might warrant for reasons of imminent security the use of such an extra-legal form of imprisonment.

There are currently at least 300 Palestinians being held in this manner. Khader Adnan, a 34-year old Palestinian, father of two young girls, just ended a 66-day hunger strike in an effort to shed light on this deplorable situation and is now near death having suffered irreparable damage to his body. His courage must not go unnoticed.

Please urge Israel to end their policy of administrative detention and charge or release all those held under this policy.

I co-fasted with Adnan on what turned out to be his last day of fasting---just IMAGINE not being told why you're jailed!
