As a disabiled Veitnam Veteran our rights should also include a speedy resolution on VA claims. I have had mine in the works for 380 days now and this causes more stress (dealing with the VA) then anything else.
God bless veterans.A proud US
Marine. Semper Fi
help, to those who figth for our country and haved sacrifite so much in the name of freedom and America WAY OF LIFE.
I support our veterans 100%.
I can only say, please let it get better, it being the quality of health care and choice of the younger staff that have never served their country.
A noble nation honors and takes care of those citizens who put their lives on the line in defense of that nation's values. Families of those brave men and women are also treated with respect and dignity.
Purple Heart for PTSD... It's about time!
any vietnam vet needs to get thier disability my dad was there twice and died @59 yrs never recieving any help fr va at all his cancer was spread thru out his body
Years of service between my husband (deceased) and I, 27.
People can somewhat identify what wives endure, but they will never know how the children suffer.
Shame on us who forget our Vets.
SHAME on this nations leaders, not just the wealthy in Congress and the Senate( they are part or the ELITE Capitalist TOO; thats why it's so hard to get anything done to help eliviate the finacial burdens of the masses). Cooprate leaders; those who sacrafice to protect this nation and allow YOU- to become EVEN MORE wealthy at the risk of the loss of life and or limb Deserve BETTER! Veteran have earned the RIGHY TO EXPECT to NEVER have to exspirience homlessness because they CAN'T FIND A JOB to take care of themselve and their families! Mr.Warren Buffet has the right solution... those of you who control the wealth in this nation SHOULD PAY the 30% that is comming out of the pockets of the rest of us..Amarican citizens; you should be up in arms and start to DEMAND the CLOSE Copporate LOOP HOLES that permit and support the continued fiancial RAPE of the rest of us. They enjoy the true fruit of the vine which is more CAPITAL or MORE MONEY from OUR Labor that keeps the vine producing !
We can never do enough to ppay them back . Lets start now
A way that all corpsman and medical military are able to leave military service with a certificate enabling them to get a job in the medical field. They have had alot of training. Have done numerous procedures on and off the battlefield. To get a position they are required to go back to classes(that they could probably teach), which I am sure are boring for them. I know they are in need of all medical jobs. And we train our military corpsman very well. Maybe, just saying, it might work!
I believe the rights for the incarcerated veterans should depend on the severity of their crime and option of discharge.
They deserve America's best because they are America's best...
Army 1987 to 2006 Disable Vet.
I served The US Army until 1986, I was there a 100% and then some, but the US does not backup its soldiers/veterans a100%, it is time US politicians allow the US to be what is suppose to be, GREAT.
There is no way our Veterans should not get everything on this list. They risk everything "Mind, Body and Soul" for this country. They deserve it without a fight. This should not eve be a topic.

im scared and all this sounds good but when looking for help it sometimes dont come quick enough. i just pray i can get some help because im on my way to being homeless soon.
I am a veteran too so I support this bill, and every veteran outhere that is being alienated by this country that has shifted from true patriots to money hungry vultures.
i have ask to go through the chain of command, severl time since coming home in 1973,i have been treated like a criminal instead of a veteran.cant get a fair hearing -my family can get a medical card from va but not me,and i'm the veteran, when i told va i had cancer, the rep; told me va should have been the one who found that out, then the dr tell me i dont want to come back here [va hospital ] when i send a letter to my congressman.they tell him a lie and said i cant get afee card because i live near a va but did not tell him how many time s i had been turn away from va only to end up in another hospitals and i went to va first, they dont want to treat me /and no fee card, then they say your country love you, well 1n 39 year s they havent showed no love, gave me lawyer for my hearing after lawyer did his job said ii will hear from them,in 6 months that was 1996 call my att;office ask for him they said he does not work there eney more, and they dont no where he is,do congress no about these s i ask to go through the chain of command'' can some one tell me how to do it where it does not get loss.i love my country / my country does not love me
I sign this petition in an effort to thank our those yet to serve............................................."If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace."
Thomas Paine.
We should learn from history and not cover it up. veterans want to get back into the workforce and be a part of the community. Be again a part of society and not just be housed. We need to be sustainable for the long term. There are those amongst us that have the power to save what is loved by another, but powerless to use those blessings for the love of a veteran!
