Given that the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Amendments of the US Constitution protect US citizens from abuse by the legal system, law enforcement, and military, and,
Given that there has been little public discourse and knowledge about the troubling clauses in the proposed Defense Authorization Act,
We the Undersigned wholeheartedly oppose passage of any bill that allows the US government to indefinitely detain American citizens without a trial and
We will vote against all elected officials, who vote in favor of such a bill or express support for such a bill, in all future elections.

This is both unamerican and unconstitutional.
This is totally against the constitution and the Occupy Movement will hold you responsible. This is a bill that will lead America to a fascist state. Each one of you that supports this it will be held responsible in the next election. The Occupy movement will have great influence over the next elections.
Political leaders... our rights are not your's to take or give. We will not let you do so.
This destroys everything it means to be American.
