WATCH VOTING RECORDS OF YOUR CONGRESSMEN AND VOTE THEM OUT IF THEY DO NOT DO SOMETHING TO SOLVE THE "DEBT CRISIS". THERE IS NO REASON THESE ELECTED OFFICIALS CANNOT COME TO SOME SORT OF AGREEMENT TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE. THEY HAVE TO COMPROMISE FOR THE GOOD OF THE CITIZENS OF AMERICA. IF THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO DO THAT. THEN THEY SHOULD BE "FIRED" BY US.

I honestly think that we need to vote these people that have not done their jobs out. These people are more unethical than any I have ever seen. It is considered UNETHICAL for me to give myself a raise...or to just make my own hours or to approve vacation.....so why is it alright for these congressional leaders (both house and senate) to do just this??? REALLY?!?!?!!!! I'm very disappointed in these supposed leaders. Please show these people at the voting booth that you are fed up with their antics...this doesn't have to be this way.

The citizens of America will suffer all because you all have political differences. This does not show your effectiveness to make a difference in this country at all. vote for the Presidents plan he is for the people. The republicans only want to keep him from being re-elected in 2012. We need congress to pass a compromised bill. One that will take the Spending Limit into 2013 and one that will make the richest people in America pay their fair share of taxes. Also one that takes away some of the huge tax breaks that are given to the oil companies and large corporations. If Congress cannot or will not do these things they need to be "Fired"..

I am aware of the complications involving negotations, and people as a whole have their personal ideas, but in the situation that is taking place in Washington now is reduculas. I would like to start by saying I am one of those you speak of when you say you are representing those who voted to have you represent us.
After listening to President Obama tonight and the rebuttal by Speaker Borhner I am ashamed to say I voted for you as it is clear you are firmly behind Speaker Borhner on this issue.
It is quite disappointing the stand you and other republicans in the house have taken on raising the dept ceiling. I voted for you because you said you would be nonpartisan on issues, clearly you can't. You and speaker Boehner need to remember this is a government of the people, by the people and for the people, not large corporations.
If you do not change your vote on this issue and agree to add some tax increases along with necessary cuts you will never receive my vote again in the future.
