i know its a freedom a speech act but in america everyone is intitled to what they believe in and should respect ones religion.that gives no right in burning ones book that they believe in and go by. the islamic/muslim faith is a peaceful and non-prejudice religion and in no way will its followers do what other religions do and NEVER burn or hurt another ones belief.
I am not worried about the Quran, I am more worried about the very mentally sick people in this world who are imposing their hate and sick values on others.
How is this guy not breaking any laws!?!? Surely the government can book him (at least) on conspiracy, bribery, fraud, disturbing the peace, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and/or vandalism charges -- can't they!?!? I mean it is quite obvious!!! Burning the Quran is not an act of God, no Pastor Jones is selling his soul to Satan if just one Quran is evenly slightly damaged!!! Islam is not of the Devil, Pastor Jones is a satanic wolf in sheep's clothing!!! Extremists do not serve gods, no they serve the Devil!!! Any god regardless of our religion will make it quite clear that such behavior will not be tolerated!!! The holy gods instead want all of us to live in unity and harmony against the satanic forces!!! Just consider this, America is not anti-Islamic or anti-Muslim as terrorists and other anti-social individuals all over the world including Newt Gingrich say we are!!! More and more of us, including myself are very tolerant of the many different religions and that's God almighty would want it!!! Infact, many of us including myself have been and still are opposed to the War on Terror and the War in Iraq!!! Not all Americans let alone Christians are to blame for the actions of our leaders much less Pastor Terry Jones, who is extremely detrimental to any religious background!!! Pastor Jones along with other pastors planning to burn holy books of any kind should throw in the towel and give up their pastorship... Now that would be the right thing to do!!! Only Satan would want us to stay divided so more souls end up in hell with him!!! But we cannot and should not give him that satisfaction!!! We must stand together in interfaith against Satan and his evil spirits so that someday we can reach the heavens regardless of who our God is!!! I know this for a fact that Pastor Jones does not and will never represent my views of the world, and that's something that has to be considered!!! We Americans are in favor of unregulated religious freedom and we are pro-Islam and pro-Muslim regardless of our very religious backgrounds!!! Pastor Jones only represents himself, not any other person(s) in the world!!!
What Pastor Terry Jones is suggesting, he certainly does not represent a majority. I believe main stream Christianity does not support extreme views and they believe in respecting other faith's scriptures.
If the pastor thinks any good could come from him burning the qur'an.I wonder how he would feel if someone burned the bible or a torah.Everyone was affected by 9/11, but it wasn't Islam who attacked us it was a group of extremist with a sqewed view of an otherwise peaceful religion with alot of the same beliefs as Christianty and Judism. Ignorance and fear is the biggest problem with people like this pastor in FL, just read the book you don't have to become muslim, but read it and if anything listen to what the bible says and love your enemy and read the Bill of Rights and and Constitution of the United States and pay attention to the part where it says we have the right to a life without religous persicusion, and that all men are created equal.We are Americans we don't burn books the Nazi's burnt books and killed intillectualls who could think for themselves, not to mention alot of Jews, Gypsies and others and we are not Nazi's. I do not agree with the Pastor one FRACKIN BIT!!! It really ticks me off that in the 21st century people are still so misinformed and willing to not ask questions so that they can make a well informed opinion for themselves and not believe what there told by others who are so sad and messed up. Let alone this guy is putting our lives at risk by such behavior and the lives of our servicemen he's a fool, never mind the fact that if he did burn the qur'an he wouldn't wake up the next day, heck might of already offended the wrong people with just suggesting it. I hope that Federal Law Enforcement keep an eye on the nut job and do all they can do to thwart people like him he's actually the enemy of US citizens and Christians and Jews. IM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!! and just want to say 95% of us don't agree with the wacko christians who spread these lies, filth and there fear mongering. So go in peace spread a word of tolerance and information that is correct and right, and remember 9/11 affected all of us here in USA and in the world as a whole regardless of race,gender, and espcially religion.

A better communication between the mosque comity and the community on site should be organized. I am not for the mosque at this point without communication but the burning of their Holy Qur'an is just disrespectful.

I was raised Protestant-Christian from a long history of Catholic clan. My family always taught respect towards other religions. We immigrated to the US and have always appreciated this country's principles and foundations based on FREEDOM OF RELIGION. I support US Muslims and request congress to stop the Quoran burning.

No matter if they burn all the copies of Quran, the true message of quran would still live in the hearts of the Muslims. With thousands and millions of Hafiz (who memorize quran) they can't eliminate quran and its teachings. Allah - the one and only, will keep it alive. May Allah give all Muslims (including me) the chance to read and practice Quran every day, minute and second Ameen.
