seriously, we should be emabarrassed that this law hasn't passed yet. hello, the safety of the people and no one should have to suffer the heart wrenching pain of losing such a young child to contaminated food! This is preventable. Please pass this law and hold the food industry accountable.
In our modern age it is unfathomable that we can have so many deaths attributable to food-born disease/illness. The consumption of food is a necessity for life, however we've adopted a 'hands off' approach to the regulation of the industry which produces that very food supply. Bring Kevin's Law back to the table and protect the American public from unnecessary illness at the hand of negligent, profit-driven corporations.
No child, no person should experience the pain that Kevin did, and no family should have to bear witness to a loved one suffering in the way that Kevin did. Then why doesn't our government make a change for once! This is a common sence case, & nothing is getting solved.. We NEED to know what exactly we are eating or the world is going to change for the worst..
The government is here to protect us in our foods. If we can't even eat food that we feel safe to eat, we've got nothing left. We need a fair chance to allow us to have a chance to speak about the US government to stop these contaminated foods and given to consumers.

Just watched Food, Inc. for the first time - and I cannot believe that Kevin's Law never passed after this long. What is wrong with our country's politicians?
Just watched Food Inc. and I'm now better informed about what we eat and how little protection we're getting from the U.S. Government. It's very sad and disappointing so I just hope this petition can bring about the change our families and the environment desperately need.
