my name is Michael Joeseph Barton chad's father i was honorably discharged from the united states army as private first class 2 i worked a demolition crew in vietnam and agree with this petition my son would proudly serve his country and do a good job doing it
i agree with mr barton he is a good man that is willing to fight for his country and rights i am a muslim and would like to see mr barton succeed at making his dreams come true
I believe this petition is great for people who deserve a second chance. Everyone makes mistakes and should not be punished for the rest of their lives. Please consider it for all Americans trying to move on with their lives and leave the past behind.
My name is Sgt. Nigel M. Greene, honorably discharged veteran from the United States Air Force. I am totally in favor of giving second chances to those who are deserving, like Mr. Barton. We have members of Congress and even our last three presidents who have admitted to using marijuana and cocaine, yet a grown man, willing to sacrifice for his country, can't enlist. I believe that its unfair to keep dedicated, reformed patriots, like Mr. Barton, from from his dream of serving his country, based on something that occured nearly thirteen years ago, when he was just an adolescent.
i think the economy needs this chance and i think the Discipline would be great for Americas youth the education would give this country a better economy after our served terms
americas second chance for its youth and economy
