Our nation has always been first to fight and first to the scene of a catastrophic event. It has not been in our heritage to give up so soon because it costs too much. That has always been something that we will gladly struggle financially for but, quitting before you know for sure whether or not there are survivors is bullcrap. I was at the Oklahoma bombing site where I drove from Texas to implement a rescue plan. I watched as the site sat with no rescue efforts being made at night. I was there as there were bodies pulled out that rigormortis had not set in on. Our authorities fought daily for power over making decisions. I was eventually told to leave the state by Oklahoma City Police department. I had to back down and leave, with no one having received my plan, which was the simple conversion of a mining conveyor system having added swinging manbuckets on both sides. The idea would have made it possible for one man to use a torch, while the other hooked the cranes hook to large pieces of concrete for removal. This provided for fast removal without the weight of 20-30 men using 5 gallon buckets. Two men together could lift smaller pieces of concrete onto the conveyor belt that moved between them. The other problem that I have is this issue of allowing puppet authorities to hold our citizens, thinking that we were kidnappers. There are no buyers in the world for Haiti Children. Our Child protective services cannot find homes for our own. This administration is up to a work disquised as remaking our image. I & we the people will not be decieved that easily. We will lead this world again but, not with ungodly liars like we have in office now.
As someone who was involved in the rescue of an LPR stuck in Haiti I can personally say that members of the US Congress and the State Dept. have not chosen this disaster in which to prove that they could shine and do their utmost to protect American Citizens and American Families
It is important that we continue to help the peolple of Haiti to recover from this disaster.
As US citizens we should also do what it takes to bring our own home.
please continue the efforts until all survivors/non survivors, or whoever was at hotel montana at the time of the earthquake are found!... i say, search through out the site until there is nothing to be seen... this is because, friends and family who are aware of the missing people inside of the hotel during the catastrophe are not at ease! we want to know because the words 'missing' are not confirming ****. i really protest towards the reason of 'we give up' for stopping the search...
Continue Rescue Efforts at Hotel Montana, Haiti, until all survivors accounted for
