Hey! We all know there are chemicals in them that keep them burning. Why not Take Them Out! DUH! Cigarettes should be 100%natural tobacco and natural flavors and should contain minimal paper for a smooth and tastey smoke. In addition, cigarettes that taste good shouldn't be banned either. like Cloves! All cigarettes contain FLAVORS. Marlboro has licorice and cocoa as flavors as defined in the FDA's flavored tobacco act. Fire Safety Compliant cigarette laws were passed using deception and lack of testing. They are more of a fire hazard if anything, and give people constant headaches, sinusitis, body pains, and other health ailments. when i started smoking these cigarettes in 2011, many times i have felt like I have wanted to pass out, had bouts of confusion, among other things. I have smoked since 1993 and NEVER felt like this until the intro of these poisonous cigarettes. Smoking is definitely not a good habit, but by adding EVA to cigarette papers is going WAY TOO FAR!! WHAT IF IT WAS YOUR CHILDREN THAT STARTED SMOKING!

These FSC cigarettes are MORE dangerous that the old style. The fire is constantly falling off the end. When you re-light them the end bursts into flames. Stop this **** !!!
I have developed a cough that produces a lot of phlegm and My mouth is so dry my lip are breaking out in fever blisters that wont heal, I keep sore throats and I noticed other smoker that are having the same symptoms. I am about to start a class action suit because how much damage have these FSC cigarettes caused to people health.
I feel the strip has caused me to cough so much more and made it difficult to breath. I have stopped smoking as of Jan 1 2011. I have never felt this was effective on fire safety. It would never go out when you laid it down but would always go out when smoking making you have to relight it and while driving it was an issue plus big peaces of the safety thing would drop off burning your seats clothes and skin.
since the cigarettes went FSC... they tasted nasty and i noticed that almost every brand tastes the same now with that FSC in it,you could say that you can taste the FSC in every brand of cigarettes sold in the U.S.,apart from that they burn your throat more and make you dizzy and other new health side effects from it,i have noticed that when i left my cigarette in the ashtray it burned all the way to the filter, some other brands it works and some others dont work at all plus they have 2 designs of FSC, some cigarette brands don't have stoppers they just have an extra peice of paper wrapped around the cigarette and other cigarette brands have the two stoppers that is visible on the cigarette,the only conclusion in my Opinion is that the FSC in the cigarettes was put there to make the cigarettes even more hazzardous to your health and eliminate the population even faster as part of the population crisis and the food shortage problem,this is just one product that in my Opinion falls into that category the reason i have this opinion cause of other reports in the past with BPA being discovered in plastics that contain food and drink that causes health issues as seen on Fox and CNN and also this...70% of ALL Beef and Chicken has been treated with Carbon Monoxide Gas shown on NBC Newsso FSC falls in this too and it needs to stop.

We need to get this news out...Smoker's have been demonized for so long that we will get no sympathy...regardless, carpet glue in cigarettes...seriously?...with no warning to the public? Carpet glue is highly toxic to inhale as well as the toxic fumes it produces. I had thought of starting a petition myself. However, after searching I found this site. I have had problems with these new "safer cigarettes", my mouth has become irritated specifically the roof of my mouth. I have also experienced diahrea since the new cigarettes came out, something I had never experienced before. And no these cigarettes are not safer as Rhonda stated little 'cherries' of fire and paper are constantly falling off the ends. Has there been any testing to see how harmful the chemicals that they have added are to humans. I worry with my mouth being constantly irritated about mouth cancer.
I want to see some legislation on making sure these new procedures with the cigarettes are safe to humans.

Would Congress ever vote to 'change' the contents of liquor for the safety of 'drinkers'? I think not.

Ethylene Vinyl Acetate copolymer, which is the chemical added to the cigarette paper in small rings, is extrememly toxic and NOT SAFE for human consumption, Especially when burned and inhaled. It has been extremely irresponsible of state governments across the US to pass the FSC law without looking into the prolonged dangers of using the FSC products.

Give us back our cigarettes! I am 20 & very healthy, active & ever since the change I have noticed changes in my breathing and coughing. This happened almost immediately after the start of FSC. Not to mention the burn holes in my carpet/clothes ect.....which is a first for me.

The signs and symptoms are very real ,the changes occur quickly and it does not matter age ,symptoms same for a recent smoker compared to long term smoker.We tell people their TV wont work cause of Changes but we dont inform smokers of something that could harm health much more..Being a Smoker is not a excuse to totally disregard my opinion.

I have burned holes in my car, clothes, and the other day the hots fell off on my ankle and I have a blister the size of a dime. I feel these smokes are far more dangerous. Just because I choose to smoke does not mean the government has to choose what cigarettes I smoke. I have never burned my skin like this, nor have I had so many burn holes in my nice items. I have burned more cloths/floors in the last year than I have my whole 20+ years smoking. These things are a real safety issue. I burned a hole in the pocket of my shirt yesterday and another today form the cherry falling into my pocket. How to they call these things safe? I think someone got a fat check from this bad idea and now there sweeping the safety concerns under the rug. I know our government (the white Mafia) is corrupt but there now even trying to cover up this terrible idea. You think they would have tested them a little better. Like using data from real people not machines. You don't have to worry about falling asleep these things will light you up while wide-awake.

**** FSC cigarettes! Ever since the FSC cigarettes have come out I have been coughing up black coagulated mucus. And have been having trouble breathing. I would love to have a cigarette that does not hurt to smoke and does not taste like copper.
I refuse to smoke them and as soon as I run out of the good cigarettes, I'm quitting. As difficult as that may be, it couldn't possibly be any worse than FSC's.
Since smokers usually have a cigarette when we go to the bathroom, I think it would be a good idea for the government to pass a law requiring Fire Safe Toilet Paper, this would surely cut down on the number of bathroom fires caused by cigarette smokers!!! The FSC cigarettes are a FIRE HAZARD! My cigarette went out and I went to re-light it and a BALL OF FIRE shot out the end!Then the other day I went to take a drag off my cigarette and the cherry fell and burned my couch when I tried to put it out it ended up burning the carpet. Why is it that I didn't have any burn marks on my fingers UNTIL the new FSC came out. I think you need to do alot more research! Maybe we should contact MYTH BUSTERS on this one. I really don't think the new cigarettes are SAFE!!!!
I am appaled that our Government would go behind closed doors and pass this bill behind our backs! As an american, taxpaying citizen....I believe this is criminal! Please repeal this FSC Cigarette law. This law had good intentions, but the final end product is no good and not safe. People will begin to roll there on cigarettes, cutting tax dollars. Also, smokers where not made aware of this law. This is very discouraging to see what the government has done to our rights.

It's proven that they're worse for you, a harvard student and a few others did test, i can't remember the site but it stated that they found the new cigs have 14% more carbon monoxide in them, and new chemicals that cause all the symptoms people are listing.. we should at least have a choice when we go to the store whether or not we smoke a fsc or not.
I have smoked for 30 years and have never had a smokers cough until NOW. I smoked these nasty cigs for 6 days- unaware of FSC- I knew something was wrong with them because they tasted stale and the fire kept falling off. I went to 4 different stores trying to get a (fresh) pack of cigs and that is when I discovered this FSC crap was in the cigs as of 1/1/10. I have headaches, am nauseous and cough till I almost vomit. I also have the first sinus infection/ear ache I have ever had and I am 50 years old! This really makes me angry- I think there trying to kill us off!
I agree with everything that Rhonda Price said. I've burned myself several times, do to the paper catching on fire when I have to relight. They taste horrible and I've got a non stop sore/cotton mouth. Along with sinus infection and upset stomach. They put chemicals in them to stop the drunks and such from dropping one & burning themselves up. Well were paying for their stupidity because they don't know better?? These are grown people. I know if I fell asleep with a cigarette & burn myself, It's MY fault, not other smokers. If you wanted everyone to quit smoking, why not stop selling them, and the tobacco companies will also be paying for stupid people's mistake of falling asleep. And the farmers will suffer too, don't forget about them.

The FSC cigarettes have made me sick. I just found about this today. I have been to the doctor about my headaches and they have found nothing. I have doctor bills now because of this. I do have the sore throat and the coughing that I did not have before. I think thiscould have been researched, instead of just putting it out there to harm us.Now who is gonna pay our doctor bills.
