Since majorities are voting on minorities rights these days.
We feel it is time our Government only recognizes Civil Unions and gives Marriage back to the church. This has proven until all rights are Equal amongst all Citizens our rights are not safe. No different, no less, Equal.
This is a Civil Rights Issue, many are forced to live apart or live in exile due to our federally recognized laws.We demand our rights back.

I will have to watch the progress of this movement from the other side of the Pacific Ocean, because although I'm a U.S. citizen, born & raised here, I do not have the same simple right that my brothers have, to sponsor my non-U.S.-citizen partner for residency here.

I do not have the right to live in my own country with the person I've chosen to share my life with.
