LIVESTRONG Day

This petition is requesting that our legislative leaders officially declare October 2nd to be LIVESTRONG Day. LIVESTRONG Day is the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s one-day initiative to unite people affected by cancer in raising awareness of cancer issues on a global level and in communities across the country.

LIVESTRONG Day brings greater awareness to communities about the services in thier areas that are available to those who are fighting cancer. We celebrate many days that hold a place in our hearts, but how often are we given a chance to celebrate a day that has the potential to change our world in such a way. Until there is a cure for cancer, I encourage you to join in the fight against this disease, and declare October 2nd to be LIVESTRONG Day, a day to raise awareness in the fight against cancer.
