we should not be forced to accept gay marriages either, I wasnt ask to vote agaist it. like prayers taken our of our schools and God from our allegiance is nor welcome, our forefathers created our Constitution based under God's direction, thats why this nation is going backwards and never is going to restore its financial situation because it was decided for us "we the people" to accept sin, which in some state copulating and a man beind sodomized in a homosexual relationship is against the law. Sin is sin, no matter how pretty our congress puts it, our Constitution recognizes mens and womens right, these homosexuals are not a third sex of aliens from another planet.
Protect the children who are victims on their parent's extremist beliefs. Children should not have their lives be placed at risk by their parent's indoctination.
Faith healing does not work and kills people. This fact needs to be taken into consideration above people's religious freedoms, especially when it comes to the lives of children who have no say in any of this.
Many children are harmed and even die because stupid religious people take their religion WAY too far! Parents who refuse to get their children medical treatment because they believe God is going to heal them...should be punished! Quit giving these guys a free pass.
Now everybody need to stand together in this bill. NO more to insurance industry forcing paying for prayer.say NO say NO.We the people for the people.stand together.
This is wrong on so many levels. Firstly, exorcisms and faith healings are not medical care. Secondly, a rational system of deciding what medical care is effective (evidence-based medicine) already exists. Thirdly, separation of church and state benefits everyone. Fourthly, separation of church and state is the law (First Amendment).
The government should be focusing on actual medical treatments that produce real results. Prayer has no verifiable benefits and at least one test shows that it could potentially HURT the patient.
Children should not suffer because their parents choose fairy tales over medical science. We prosecute parents when they abuse and neglect their children. We shouldn't give them passes in the names of mythical deities.
