Took me a long time to finally find a petion to add my name to supporting Obama's Health Plan, what's up with all of you in the media that support Health Care Reform Bill, but don't put out the same effort as the oposition in reaching those who want to be counted on in support of a public health care option? GET TO WORK!
I think that access to health care is a right not a privilige. For what is supposed to be the richest country in the world no one should be sick and not be able to get care or become bankrupt in the process, trying to pay for it. Shame on the 5% who owns all the wealth. We want the same health benefits as members of congress. We want the Public Option to be passed.
Its high time to fix American healthcare. This country spends more than any other country on EARTH...and still has statistics that rate it very low in actual care delivered. I know, Ive worked in healthcare 25yrs. I have worked hard..but I cannot turn around a system put in place that is ,in essence, a cash cow for Insurance companies,drug companies, some doctors, and hospitals. They all say they're barely surviving..but the parking lot full of Mercedes and BMW tells the truth.
We need to rein these people in. They had 50 yrs to self regulate and all they have done is squander the chance.
Now we must reform US healthcare, before its to late.
May I suggest we expand the VA Sytem to all Americans? Its has a proven track record, its already up and working and it runs very inexpensively. We need to replace the old system with one that we can afford.

I know this petition is the right thing to sign because the healthcare industry is now controlling who lives and who dies in this country. The Doctors were educated and trained to save lives and the healthcare industry are in direct conflict with what the Doctor's Oath of "Do No Harm" The Healthcare industry are in business to profit and to prey upon their own customers. They need to be eliminated from the equation of health reformation. They are a drain on society. Of no use, themselves.
I am one of the uninsured my husband and I have 5 children we work still no health care. We will do whatever we can to help support health care reform.
DEFEAT Liberal HELLcare! And fix the system that is in-place! Come 2010 buh-bye to the Liberal Majority! Good job, you blew it, just like you've ruined States like mine. Cali. !
