Antavio used the NAMES of two Lakeland FL police officers in a song called "Kill me a cop". He was on probation for cocaine charges. If you threaten a public official, you receive time. If he had any brains that weren't obliterated by what was probably years of drug use, he would have thought TWICE about actually using the names of two actual police officers. You want to fly under the radar, you druggie rapper, don't draw so much attention to yourself.
What is happening to our country when our individual rights as Americans are revoked? How else are human beings supposed to express themselves or vent their frustrations(other than actually acting out and possibly committing crimes) if we can't talk or write about it. What next??? Will we be jailed and imprisoned for our thoughts? The freedoms that Americans are born with are the reasons why so many people from all over the world want to come to American and become a citizen...so they can be free, as well. This is wrong and appauling! He should be freed at once and be rewarded for fully exercising his rights as an American. Many Americans have never and will never fully feel their complete freedom because they are too scared to speak out and stand up for what they believe in, and they live their lives with all these rights but only doing what Washington says is acceptable. It's a shame! This young man is a proud American and he wasn't afraid to let everyone know that he was an American who had the freedom and right to express himself. I pray to God that he is released soon, even today if God wills it. And I also pray that the judgement that is passed over the people responsible for sending him to prison is merciful.
I am a rapper myself and i woulda never thought u could get locked up for expressing how u feel on a song...this really pissed me off when i 1st heard about this...this is cleary a violation of his rights as an american...

I agree. He has the freedom of speech just like every other american in the United States. I have heard so many songs similar to the one this man got in trouble for but this is the first time i have ever heard of someone getting arrested for a song they've made. i feel he should not have even got in trouble because we are suppoase to have a freedom of speech and the fifth admendment is suppose to protect us! Freedom Of Speech. He did not release the song whenever he recorded it. It's an old song. Music is thoughts, we do not put people in jail for bad thoughts or idea's. Him in prison is a waste of tax payers money.

I don't believe it's justice to lock someone up because of what they said on a song.
