The best thing to do is get obama OUT OF OFFICE. It is clear he does not know what he is doing. Free health care for the illegal immigrants, it’s bad enough that Americans have to foot the bill for their free government housing and food stamps. We don’t see them having to take a drug test, or doing community service for their food stamps. Then we have to pay the way out for Wall Street and the big banks for their greedy mistakes, COME ON!!!!! Enough is Enough!!! We do not want/need government run health care.

There are so many things that need fixing in health care, why don't we just fix them? Instead of creating government run health care! Tort reform, medicare fraud, there is so much in need of an overhaul, let's do that first!!
I honestly believe the liberal dems are deliberately writing their version of the bill to be incomprehensible to everyone. That way it leaves us all in limbo, unable to understand the gobbledygook, and they can interpret it the way they want, once it's passed.
The worst behavior they have is "door gate" and them writing their proposed bill behind closed doors, not even allowing any republicans to take part in nor see the process. Great transparency, bi-partisanship, and honesty, Obama!!!
I’m writing to express my concern with the Health Care Reform bill as it is currently being proposed in Congress.
The 1990 page bill is monstrously complicated, costing upward of a trillion dollars. The bill is too complicated for the average voter to fully comprehend and too voluminous for the average lawmaker to read. This bill will spend money we don’t have and create enormous new bureaucracies to regulate, limit, control, and, ration care. Millions of us will have huge new tax liabilities at a time when we simply cannot afford it!
The health care system makes up 16% of our economy. The real issues are tort reform, modernization of records, and removal of fraud by all participants in the system. Doctors, patients, insurance companies, abuse of medicare and enormous waste are responsible for over 800 billion a year. That is the cost of the entire package that is being pushed through. Congress is treating the symptoms but not the disease.
American Citizens (particularly the middle class) are becoming weary of the entitlement mentality. The goal here seems to be an eventual single payer system, taking over the entire USS health care system. Why are we tearing down our existing health care system to achieve the goals of providing "affordable" coverage for the millions who cannot presently obtain or afford health care insurance coverage? There must be a simpler, more affordable method of achieving this goal.
I would support health care reform when:
• our National Debt is paid off
• when we no longer have a budget deficit
• when the Tarp funds, stimulus packages and cash for clunkers are all repaid to the American taxpayer
• And last but not least when the government manages to close and secure our borders, and deport all those that are here illegally
We need to return to focusing on fiscal responsibility, small government, and strong national defense and leave social issues for the states to worry about.
We will vote out of office any representative of ours who votes for this bill.
I am ademently opposed to a Government run Health care option because there is no true business risk when it will be funded by a bottomless pit meaning taxes on employers and employees. This is a terrible idea that will take us to a 3 trillion dollar or more deficit!

It is 1017 pages long, but I can point out specific pages that are alarming to say the least.
Under Section 1401, a Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research would be set up, creating a government bureaucracy through which "federal employees" could determine whether any treatment is "comparatively effective" for any individual based on the cost, likely success, and probably of the years left in life.
In effect, the government could deny you medical treatment if they feel it isn't "comparatively effective".
I say hell no to the Obama/Democratic/Socialist healthcare bill.
