I was trying to get my husband legalized (we've been married for 2 1/2 years), and he had to leave to Mexico for 1 5months. These months have been the worst months of my life. PLEASE KEEP FAMILIES UNITED!

I know exactly how u feel. I know of a Couple been married for 8years have 2 kids good business running, immigration is still having problem of giving the husband a green card. Our immigration is failing us.
My husband is stuck in Mexico due to the Waiver being Backlogged becuase according to immigration we didn't have enough evidence to prove Hardship....We provided a 14 Page letter with 34 pieces of Evidence with all our paperwork in order, yet you say that we don't have enough evidence....Bull!!!!! This immigration system STINKS.....FIX IT quick so that all our families can be reunited and live happily!

I have my husband in Mexico currently waiting for an answer. This time apart is really hard. I have a two year old daughter and she needs her dad her. I haven't found a job to pay rent, bills, diapers, and food. My daughter and me are U.S Citizens.
My husband has been in Mexico since his first Visa appt on June 15, 2009. What good is coming from keeping all of us separated. As a citizen and who voted for you, I request that you remember your promise for immigration reform. I realize some issues seem to out weigh others. But we need you to help us now. God Bless the U.S.A.
I would love for my husband to become legal, but i cant allow him to use the current system its broke beyond repair and is not made for all,Fix the current system make it usable by all who attempt citizenship,my husband should be finacally responsilble for his 2 american children, not my STATE resources!! FIX THE SYSTEM NOW!!!!
Mr. President -
You promised an immigration reform in the first 100 days of office, and you failed those who voted for you. I am a U.S. Citizen and married to a wonderful husband who has had to leave the U.S. in order to comply with your current immigration laws. I am a Citizen of this country and feel like a foreigner because I am not with my husband because the laws at the moment are keeping us apart. Please help bring my family and all families alike together. Would you like to be apart from your family because someone else who does not know you says?? Think about it.
I am a US citizen, married to a wonderful man who has been a positive, productive member of United States society for over 14 years - although he entered without documentation from Mexico, and is currently "stuck" in Mexico as we try to navigate our unwieldy, horribly inefficient immigration system. Although he regrets having entered the US in the wrong way, as a young man he saw no other option, no opportunities for growth or for making a life for himself. In EVERY OTHER WAY my husband is more of a model citizen than many natural born Americans I know. He has worked hard and responsibly, taken out and repaid loans, paid sales and property taxes, and has contributed to our SOCIAL SECURITY and MEDICAID funds (we have paystubs documenting this for many years). He has never been in trouble with the law. He has helped construct dozens of projects all over the United States. With no benefit of formal education, he has learned a second language and become a respected tradesman. Those like him who have built lives here with the TACIT approval of our government should have the opportunity to continue living here, and should not be punished as criminals. Please stop this travesty for Rigo, for my husband, and the millions like them. ACT NOW!!!!! Educate the public on the realities of our current system, and counter the myths promulgated by hate groups such as FAIR.
My husband has been backlogged since last month, life has been very rough here in the United States for us with out my husband. We need a better system to bring our beloved ones back sooner.
My family is caught up in this current immigration net,My children and I are all us born citizens, and we feel we have no rights what so ever,my husband has been gone for 18 long,HORRIBLE months now,We've gone from working class Americans,to being thrown into the welfare system, jobless, and about to join the ranks of the homeless! What ever happened to LAND OF THE FREE???? Sincerely,Theresa A. (DeCourcy)Lopez-Aceves
All the husbands and wives cases that are referred need to be looked at sooner that 15 months and Immigration needs to get off the old system and create a new one. This isn't fair for families. Something needs to be done NOW.
Michelle my son is deported to Brazil he have 2 american kids I hope this law pass we need my son back in the usa
thanks

Maria
International organizations should oversee this human right violation (KKK = ICE).
How can our country break up a family? Lets het him here so he can be with his family, work and help this Nation!
Please, Mr. President, you've done a great deal to make us more equal in D.C. Help us to be treated more humanely in this country that we love. I'm working hard with OFA now for health care reform. I was a delegate for you, volunteered in three states in two languages for you. I'll work as hard or harder, as best I can, for immigration reform. Reunite these families, these deportations are heartbreaking.
I taught for the Los Angeles Unified School District for 36 years. During the first 10 years, I studied Spanish and earned a Bilingual Certificate of Competence so that I could help students like Rigo, who came to the USA as a middle school child, learn English.

Please allow Rigo permission to stay in the U.S. with his family until he can earn citizenship.
I think this is a growing problem that needs to be addressed . Children are brought over and raised in this country ,then faced with deportation to a land that is unfamiliar to them.
Where is the worlds heart I really think that when he has been here as long as he has and his children were born her why do this to a family that loves each other.Offical really need to rethink about people and show they really care about people instead of being an ass----
Please keep there family together.... anymore family is all we have...
they are a good family and should not be split up..how would you feel if you had to start all over in a foreing country. how dare anyone who tries to do such a heartless thing to a family who has lived here for years and has repected the government. now is the time for you to actually become a human being and keep this family together in the united states. step up and do the right thing.
We need to keep hard working, tax paying productive people here in our country. More importantly we need to keep families together.
This is a solid American - help him stay one please.
This is a beautiful family that has learned from their choices they have made and the consequence that follow. They have learned from this and are making changes to improve their lifestyle. I have recently been impressed with the well balanced and VERY happy children that are being raised in this new environment they work hard at and call HOME. They are focused on raising very respectful and happy children and I have had the pleasure of joining them on occasion just to see what a pleasure this family is. I hope you are able to re-evaluate this situation, education and experience that has grown from it and that being a BEAUTIFUL AND LOVING FAMILY is a great value to our society. Please do not separate this perfect family and destroy what they have worked so hard for.
Know that your family has my prayers
Do the right thing here. You can't allow a family to be broken up like that. It's completely unAmerican.
Please help this family!
Let's make this right!
My sisters family are very close and to take Rigo away now would be devastating to us all. He is a wonderful father and husband. They hvae been fighting for years on trying to get him legal. The only thing holding him back is the very country that he is trying to become a part of. Please help keep him here with us. Greatly appreciated for your time.

“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” Mark 10: 6-9
